January 2026 ‘Nearctic passerines’
A dramatic new phenomenon in western Iberia, possibly the result of an
expansion of the ‘Azores High’ in autumn north and west to the coast of
Newfoundland and sometimes beyond, as well as increased hurricane
activity.
